What Makes the Avian Bird Flu Such a Concern
The avian flu has become one of the most common concerns in the medical world. What makes it different from the typical flu is that the avian flu is harder to control and that it is transmitted through different means. Controlling the flu in this case is especially hard to do.

When a person has had close contact with the secretions from these animals they will be likely to develop this form of the flu. This means that the bird flu is not a risk to the general public at this time, but there is always the risk that there will be an impact. While the avian flu is not an immediate concern there are worries that controlling the flu in this case will be very dangerous. There are no cures at hand for this strain, so it is best to be aware that the strain could possibly mutate to the point where it will be easier to transmit the disease to other humans. The most vulnerable of people are those in the Third World who do not have the technology to prevent the disease, but even civilized worlds are at risk.
There have been some developments in the treatment of this form, but they have not been proven to be effective. That's because this flu has not been as widespread as the typical flu has been.
